So my wife has been fostering kitten for like a year an a half now. We’ve raised 53 so far. Tonight I came to to many squeaky “mews” coming from our guest bathroom. Very tiny babies. We only have them for one night because we already have cats in our foster room, and my wife is leaving town this weekend . But never the less I would die for them.

How many have you kept in all this fostering? It’s why I couldn’t do it.

Just one. From the very first litter actually. 3 years ago my wife’s cat died. She was 17 and got lung cancer. My wife was very hesitant to get another cat. Fostering is a great way to get to know an animal. The one we kept Joy was perfect for my wife. Calm and clingy. There have been others that we wanted to keep but 2 cats is enough for one house. I also have a cat that we’ve had for like 5 years now.

Nice! It would be great to get to know them first. Everyone I have that fosters  met has picked up at least one of their foster pets. I might do it eventually.

CUTIES! Reminds me of when Tazz was little, though she was feral and we trapped her at 12 weeks old, so much bigger than that! :)
